LUKE SUAREZ

National Swimmer, Record Holder, and Proud 4LSA Athlete

From 6 Months to Nationals: My 4LSA Journey I started swim lessons at just 6 months old, attending weekly sessions until I was 8. By 9, I joined 4LSA’s competitive squads, where my real swimming journey began. With every lap, 4LSA helped me grow—pushing me to become faster, stronger, and more disciplined. At age 11, I was diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease, a knee condition that made regular training a challenge. But 4LSA never gave up on me. My coaches continuously adapted my sessions so I could keep training—even through pain and therapy. Their personalized approach made all the difference. In 2023, I started competing internationally, earning medals in regional swim meets. By 2024, I represented in the English Nationals, placing 4th in both the 100m and 200m freestyle. In the summer of 2025, I competed in both the British Nationals (16th in 100m free) and English Nationals (200m and 100m fly, 200m and 400m free). To date, I’ve proudly set two UAE national records and landed on multiple podiums—all with the consistent support of4LSA. 4LSA isn’t just a swim academy—it’s a family that fuels champions.

MATTHEW PERRY

Lane 3 Junior Competitive Swimmer at 4LSA

How 4LSA Shaped My Swimming Journey I started my swimming journey with 4th Lane Swim Academy (4LSA) back in 2019 through the Learn to Swim Program. From the very beginning, I was determined to improve, and I made sure to show up with motivation and a willingness to learn. Thankfully, my hard work paid off—my coaches saw potential in me and invited me to try out for the Lane I Squad. I passed the assessment and officially began training with the competitive team. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, it brought a lot of uncertainty, but I didn’t let that stop me. I stayed committed to training in any way I could, and 4LSA supported me every step of the way. Now, I’m proud to be part of the Lane 3 Junior Competitive Squad, where I continue to sharpen my skills and build a strong foundation for my future in competitive swimming. Thanks to 4LSA, I’ve grown not only as a swimmer but as a person—and I’m just getting started.

HAMZA ELMARAKBY

Egyptian National Team Swimmer & Multi-Medal

Swimming Taught Me More Than Discipline— It Shaped Who 1 Am 1 started swimming when I was just 3.5 years old. Even then, I already had a strong passion for the water. While most kids were still discovering their favorite sports, I knew from early on that swimming was where I belonged. But it wasn’t always easy. Unlike other sports, swimming demanded daily training, including those tough early morning sessions. There were days when I felt tired, even overwhelmed. But I learned that resilience and commitment are the true core of a swimmer. The discipline I developed helped me push through the toughest moments. What kept me going were the results and achievements. Each milestone reminded me that hard work truly pays off. I’m proud to represent the Egyptian National Team, and I’ve won three medals in the Junior African Swimming Tournament and two more in the Arab Nation Swimming Championships. Swimming isn’t just a sport to me—it’s a lifestyle, and 4LSA helped me embrace it to the fullest.
