Massive congratulations to all 4LSA swimmers that took part in the 4th Round of the Abu Dhabi Swim for Life, dominating the whole event across the different age groups and categories.

Huge congratulations to Ella Klohnova for her amazing performance at the 2024 Slovakian AG National Championships.

Swimming TIPS

1. Master the Basics First
Focus on body position, breathing, and balance before moving to advanced strokes. A strong foundation makes progress faster and safer.
2. Consistency is Key
Swimming is about regular practice. Even short, frequent sessions build more progress than long, irregular ones.
3. Always Warm Up & Cool Down
Start with gentle stretches and easy laps to prevent injuries, and finish with light swimming to aid recovery.
4. Technique Over Speed
Good technique always beats raw power. Smooth, efficient strokes help conserve energy and improve performance.
5. Don’t Forget to Breathe
Practice rhythmic breathing. Exhaling underwater and inhaling quickly above water keeps you relaxed and improves endurance.
6. Use the Right Gear
Well-fitted goggles, caps, and training aids (like kickboards or pull buoys) make practice more effective and comfortable.
7. Hydration Matters
Even though you’re in water, you still sweat! Drink water before and after sessions to stay hydrated.
8. Set Small Goals
Celebrate milestones — from learning to float, swimming your first 25m, or improving lap times. Every step counts.
9. Rest & Recovery
Rest days are just as important as training days. They help muscles rebuild and improve performance.
10. Enjoy the Process
Swimming isn’t just about medals — it builds discipline, confidence, and friendships. Enjoy every lap!
