We are delighted to announce the appointment of Filippo Poluzzi as the Lead Performance Coach for 4th Lane Swim Academy.
With a track record of national medalists across different age groups, having nurtured the Italian National Team with athletes under his guidance in multiple occasions, and international success with swimmers in his program claiming medals at the highest levels in events such as the COMEN Cup, European Junior and Senior OW Championships.
Filippo brings in a wealth of knowledge and experience, along with a genuine understanding of what it takes to support young swimmers through their journey to achieve international success.
Filippo comes on board to strengthen the 4LSA coaching team for the 2023/24 season, and honour our commitment to provide swimmers in Abu Dhabi with world-class coaching resources, the best training facilities, a solid multi-year plan and clear process outcomes aimed to support the long-term development of our swimmers.
With athletes in our program consistently developing beyond regional standards, having qualified swimmers to compete at the National Championships of 8 different countries this season alone, and having them recognized with several medals claimed in these key events; Filippo will prove to be the ideal candidate to nurture the ambitions of 4LSA’s swimmers, and offer them the best support in their journey to pursue excellence.
