Massive congratulations to all 4LSA swimmers who took part in the Middle East Open & Junior Championships hosted in Dubai over the weekend.
In what is certainly one of the swimming championships of the highest level in the Middle East, with some of the strongest swim teams from UAE, England, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Lebanon among others, the 4LSA team did amazing, with many new PBs, qualifying swimmers for plenty of finals across the different age groups, and claiming a total of 14 individual medals!
Special mention to the following swimmers:
- Luke Nevin Suarez: Bronze medals in 200 IM, 100 Butterfly & 100 Freestyle.
- Jaidaa Ali: Silver medal in 50 Freestyle; Bronze medals in 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke.
- Youssef Hassan: Gold medal in 100 Butterfly; Silver medal in 100 Freestyle.
- Francesco Galluzzi: Gold medal in 100 Freestyle.
- Dana Fahmi: Gold medal in 200 Butterfly.
- Adam Bebars: Bronze medal in 400 IM.
- Marko Sopko: Bronze medal in 50 Backstroke.
