Coaches took a selection of swimmers from the Youth Talent Program for a 4-day camp away from Abu Dhabi. While in the camp, swimmers had the opportunity to learn about nutrition, injury prevention, recovery strategies and other topics related to sports performance.
The refinement of technical skills was emphasised through the camp, while following the season plan and training program for the Novice, Junior and Youth Talent Squads.
Swimmers did a tremendous amount of work both in the pool as well as within the dryland sessions, while enjoying plenty of group and team-building activities, informative talks, and even a movie night which delivered a powerful message about sportsmanship and core values.
All and all the Camp was once again a tremendous success and a phenomenal experience!
